Is RU4M really free for attendees?
Yes. The app is free to download and use on iOS and Android. Organizers pay for the platform; whether a specific event ticket is paid is up to that organizer.
Do I need to be at an event to use it?
No. Explore Map, Nearby and Teleport work anywhere — at an event, in your city, or in a city you’re about to travel to. Events simply add context and prioritise fellow attendees.
How does the location radar work?
RU4M uses smart location technology to surface relevant professionals within a radius you control — up to 100 km — filtered by industry, role and intent. You choose when your location is visible.
Can people see where I am without my permission?
Never without your control. You decide when your location is visible, per event or per moment, and you can hide it entirely. When you Teleport, a blue ring makes it clear you’re remote.
Does my network carry between events?
Yes. One profile, one set of connections and your community memberships all persist. Attend a new event and your existing network comes with you.
